Jody has been helping me for the past several months with almost everything from stress, headaches, muscular pains, general health, and wellness.  I get good relief from my complaints.  I totally recommend them even just for consultation and advice.

I started seeing JoAnn for my lower back pain when I was about 5 months pregnant.  I had back pain even before my pregnancy but naturally, the extra weight made my pain even worse.  The pain got so bad that there was period of about 2 weeks where I could barely walk.  JoAnn seemed to know exactly what to do and introduced cupping as part of my therapy.

I have been receiving weekly acupuncture treatments for my allergies with Jodie from Acupuncture Associates. I’ve been diagnosed with idiopathic angioedema, where my eye would be bright red, swollen and painful (It looked and it felt like going 10 rounds with Mike Tyson). I used to take large doses of prednisone (which would cause a major weight gain). Once I started weekly treatments, I am not suffering from allergies and have not had an eye attack in over eighteen months. So Happy!!

Ever since she combined the traditional needling along with the cupping, I have yet to feel that horrible pain that practically made me bedridden.  I also had some issues during my pregnancy not related to my back injury, which was successfully treated as well.  I had placenta previa which, if not resolved, would have definitely ended in a C-section (something I wished to avoid!).  Again, JoAnn knew exactly what could be done for that and I am happy to say that the placenta previa has resolved itself.  I believe 100% that the acupuncture treatments worked for this problem.

I would recommend this facility to anyone with any other type of condition that JoAnn and her associates offer to treat. The office is very clean and has a peaceful atmosphere. I was always treated in a private room and JoAnn even went out of her way to make sure I was able to be treated using a special pillow to accommodate my belly. My newest issue is that my baby is in a breech position. JoAnn will now be using herbs to, hopefully, help turn my baby into proper birth position. It seems that no matter what the ailment, you can find answers in this facility. I highly recommend it!

After trying dieting and exercise several times, I decided to go to Acupuncture Associates for their weight loss program. I found JoAnn and Jodie to be knowledgeable, caring and supportive. After completing the program I not only look better, but I feel much better. With their continued guidance, I have been able to remain fit for the past 8 months.
